Get Involved!: Attending Meetings |
||
|
The first step to becoming involved in USGA is to simply attend meetings. Meetings are a great way to find out what's going on on-campus. Meetings our Wednesdays, at 9:30 pm, in Pfahler Auditorium. Meetings generally last between thirty minutes and an hour.
There are two types of USGA meetings that are open to the student body. General meetings are most frequent. At General meetings we discuss USGA business, including planning events and opening the floor to college policy discussions. Class Councils must send one representative to these meetings.
The other type of meeting open to the student body are our Town Hall meetings. Town Hall meetings are three times a semester, and we ask that all organizations receiving AFAC funding send one representative to these, and all Class Officers must attend these meetings. These meetings are used to inform the student body about recent incidents on campus, to allow reports from Student-Faculty committee representatives, Class Councils, and campus organizations, and to discuss a specific college policy.
For a schedule of the 2007-2008 meetings, please email us. |
