Started in the fall of 2000 by Chris Kriegner, the Ursinus College SCUBA
Dive Team (UCDT) is now one of the largest, most active clubs on campus.
Despite our name, we do not compete, just dive and participate in other on
land activities. Since the safest diving is done in pairs or a small
group, UCDT provides a network of divers as well as organized trips and
activities.
Since you must be certified to dive, we also offer on campus
certification courses, as
well as off campus
certifications. These certifications are open to students, as well as
faculty and staff, and are held annually.
UCDT is open to all students, faculty and staff. We also offer
opportunities to participate in our on-land activities, so if you are
