LOVE LIVES IN THE BREATH OF WATERS

where the Perkiomen Creek meets the Schuylkill River

She speaks in Lenni-Lenape

kisses of words on watery lips

unbroken, breath and vocable one,

coming to him, wanting him in,

making her sounds his heavier sounds,

sliding her charms inside his arms.

Creeks will run when going alone.

As rivers call, they will speak, and fall.
