Forces and Linear Motion - Newton’s 3 Laws

First Law: Law of Inertia
SF = 0: if there is no total force acting on an object, its linear acceleration is zero, i.e. its linear velocity is not changing.

Second Law:
SF = ma, where SF is the sum of all forces acting on an object, m is the mass of the object, and a is its linear acceleration.

Third Law:
The forces exerted by two objects on each other are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
