I am a professor of English at Ursinus College and teach the following
courses: Shakespeare, Medieval and Renaissance surveys, Chinese and Japanese
literature, First-Year Composition, and World Literature, classical and
modern. My academic interests are foreign productions of Shakespeare, especially
German and Japanese productions; translations of Chinese and Japanese texts
into English.
My social life is governed by my interest in bridge, especially duplicate games in the area. I vacation whenever possible in Lewes, Delaware, the greatest little town in the world.
