COSTS

What are the Costs?  The cost of the program for the the individual students is defined as the amount owed by the student for tuition, room and board.  Any scholarships, grants-in-aid, and or loans are applied to the bill.  Thus students pay the same amount of money as they would if they were at Ursinus.  The only additional expense for the student is the cost of airfare to and from Florence.

SPECIAL FEATURES

    TRIPS

The program incorporates two trips for the students and faculty.  This fall we will be spending three days and nights in Rome, and latter two days and nights in Venice.  These trips are considered to be part of the program and are covered by the student's tuition, room and board payment.  Of course students also have the opportunity to travel independently using Italy's rail and bus systems.

    INTERNSHIPS

Florence is a center for a large number of artisans working in areas such as art restoration, furniture decoration, wood and metal guilding, etc.  It is possible for an interested student to do an internship with an individual artisan.  The artisans restrict these opportunities to one or two students at any one time and interested students should request an internship as soon as early as possible in the semester prior to the Florence semester.
