First and second declension adjectives follow this general pattern
SINGULAR
Masc. Fem. Neut.
SECOND FIRST SECOND
Nom meus mea meum
GEN mei meae mei
Dat meo meae meo
Acc meum meam meum
Abl meo mea meo
PLURAL
Nom mei meae mea
Gen meorum mearum meorum
Dat meis meis meis
Acc meos meas mea
Abl meis meis meis
REMEMBER:
Nouns are only one declension (ie:puella takes only first declension endings)
Nouns have only one gender (this MUST be learned when you learn the noun)
The gender of the noun dictates the endings the adjective uses.
ie: libertas is feminine- therefore, if you speak of "my freedom", the declension would look like this:
SINGULAR PLURAL
Nom mea libertas meae libertates
Gen meae libertatis mearum libertatum
Dat meae libertati meis libertatibus
Acc meam libertatem meas libertates
Abl mea libertate meis libertatibus
Although the endings are not the same, they do agree in CASE, NUMBER, and GENDER, which is essential
