If you are interested in being a laboratory assistant, you must fill out an application and return it to the  Biology department secretary at the end of the semester (for classes the following semester) or at the very start of the semester (for classes that semester).  You may also be approached by a faculty member who feels that you would be a great assistant!  These are paid positions and usually require approximately 3-6 hours/week.

Applications are available in the Biology department office or you can download the application here, fill it out and return the hard-copy to the Biology secretary.

Note that being a laboratory assistant is a great addition to your resume!
