Students can receive credit (and fulfill the ILE requirement) by performing research or an internship off campus.  These can be done during the academic year or during the summer.  A step-by-step internship guide is available to help you in this process.

While the Biology faculty may have some interesting ideas for students wishing to pursue an off-campus experience, it's best to visit the Career Center.  Plan early - sometimes it will take a while to organize an internship and the earlier you consider this opportunity and start your conversation with the Career Center the better.

Plan on attending the Internship Fair run on-campus by the Career Center.
